      In addition to the typical GSM services, Vodafone also offers services whose pioneering, and in some cases, exclusive nature underlines our leadership in innovation and Customer orientation.

These include services such as Vodafone TV Net Voz, characterised by ease of installation, simplicity of use and competitive prices, as part of Vodafone’s move into new business areas in the telecommunications market, in this case fixed communications – telephone, Internet and television – now also based on our own optical fibre network reaching over 450,000 homes in Greater Lisbon and Greater Porto.

We should also mention our leadership in the introduction of new broadband services and Internet access tariffs, which include the Vodafone Hotspot (a 3G/HSPA router for sharing a broadband connection), Vita Net Light (prepaid mobile broadband), Mobile Broadband via Phone and the Vodafone Sharing Dock that allows Customers to share a 3G connection via Wi-Fi with multiple devices or users, simply by plugging in a Vodafone Connect Pen.

Other services include Multibanco ATM services on mobile phones, Vodafone web phone, Vodafone Toolbar, My Portal and Vodafone Messenger, resulting from Vodafone’s strong investment in mobile-PC convergence, which enable our customers to use the services they are accustomed to, irrespective of how they access them and with a simple and transparent user experience.

For our business Customers, we underline the Vodafone One Net, an innovative communications solution for companies that brings together fixed, mobile phone and internet services. Vodafone One Net supplies advanced call management functions on the mobile phone, which up until now had only been available in telephone centres, and does away with the need for investment in the acquisition and maintenance of this kind of equipment.

These important strategic developments are intended to turn us into a total communications operator capable of responding more comprehensively to our customers’ communications needs, whether mobile or fixed.
