ISO 14001 Certification
Since May 2003, Vodafone's Environmental Management System, covering the whole of the company, has been certified to standard NP EN ISO 14001 by APCER (the Portuguese Certification Association).
Vodafone was the first telecommunications operator in Portugal to obtain Global Certification to this universally recognised standard.
The Certificate represents Vodafone's clear commitment to the environment at all levels of the organisation and to an ongoing interest in developing and implementing environmental programmes to conserve the world around us.
