“Vitamin” family (‘T’, ‘R’, ‘K’ and ‘P’) from Telecel was awarded with the prize of best prepaid product oriented towards several specific Customer segments (Product Segmentation Award), given by Globalnet Communications a north American enterprise of Telecommunications analysts.
“Vitamins” were chosen among 250 prepaid products supplied by cellular operators from 75 countries. Only 10 awards were granted, and besides Telecel, operators won them from Italy, India, North America, Venezuela, Columbia, Malaysia and Hong Kong. Besides the award concerning best answer for market segmentation, the other awards were for best promotional campaigns, product design, technological innovation or number of Customers this last award was received by the Italian operator Telecom Italia Mobile SpA, which accounts with over 5 million Customers in prepaid products.

Issues of Reports and Accounts from Telecel, from 1996 and 1997, were awarded with the High Quality Design, from Germany Awards for Communications Design given by Design Zentrum Nordheim Westfalen.
Reports and Accounts from Telecel were chosen among 2,300 works presented by 760 designers from 19 countries.
Novo Design company was responsible for the design and creation of these issues.
