Telecel in the United States
Lisbon, 23 March 1998 – Telecel roaming service covers new areas of the United states since March 19.
Telecel Customers may now use the Omnipoint network in Florida, namely Miami, Miami beach, Palm Beach, Coral Springs, Key Biscayne, Fort Lauderdale, among other cities and areas for tourists.
In New England, the service is now available in Boston, Providence, Portsmouth, Concord and other surrounding cities, in a vast area where there are important Portuguese and American-Portuguese communities.
