Telecel Announces Promotion On Mobile to Mobile Tariffs (5 PTE per minute)
On 12 September 1998, Telecel launched an advertising campaign on a promotion where national call prices for calls between Telecel Customers are priced at 5 PTE per minute (VAT included) until 31 December 1999. This promotion, which is valid for all Customers who have subscribed Telecel GSM service until 15 October 1998, is available in two forms:

| Promotion | Calls within the Telecel Network charged at 5 PTE per minute (VAT included). | Customers pay in advance, and per service, 7,500 PTE for a pack of 1,500 minutes of mobile to mobile calls. These minutes can be used during a period of 15 months at a pace of 100 minutes per month. Minutes not used in a given month are not transferred to the following month. |
