Telecel launches a new service – “1780 service – Waking up with…”

Telecel’s service “1780 Service – Waking up with…” will be available as of tomorrow, September 25th. This utilitarian new service allows Telecel’s Customers to wake-up with daily news, weather forecasts, or with the voices of Herman José, Sofía Aparício, Alexandra Lencastre, among other well-known individuals. Telecel Customers can also choose to wake-up with a wide range of sounds (alarm clock, rooster, train-engine, etc.) or accented voices (Oporto, Azores, Algarve, among others).

“1780 Service – Waking up with…” can also be used as personal agenda, allowing the Customer to record a message to be notified in the future, at a preseted time. This will allow an effective time management, never letting the Customer to forget tasks or important events.

This new Telecel service will be available for all Customers, wherever they are, since it can be used both in Portugal and abroad through roaming. This possibility allows the users of “1780 Service – Waking up with…” the chance of waking up and be informed with the most recent news of Portugal, even when travelling abroad.

Wake up requests made while in Portugal will be charged at 80 PTE (VAT excluded), and requests made while roaming, will be charged according to regular tariffs used in calls made and received in that situation.
