Following the move to offer tariff plans equivalent to those of its competitors, Telecel continues to offer its Customers the possibility of changing their tariff plan to one which mirrors those of the other two operators. We are therefore now offering Customers, the option to choose the Optimus Boomerang Five and TMN’s Mega Smile tariff plans.

These tariffs are more expensive for the first minute, at 35 PTE (0.17 EUR) for Boomerang Five and 34.80 PTE (0.17 EUR) for Mega Smile. Then after the first minute the calls are charged at 5 PTE (0.02 EUR) for Boomerang Five, and 4.80 PTE (0.02 EUR) for Mega Smile.

The other tariffs, do not have any schedule differentiation and cost 115 PTE (0.57 EUR) per minute to call other networks on Boomerang Five. On Mega Smile the tariffs are 94 PTE (0.46 EUR) to the fixed network and 114 PTE per minute (0,56 euros) to other mobile networks. Users of these tariffs need to use the more expensive reloads of 5,000 PTE (24.93 EUR) every 2 months.

Since the beginning of July, Telecel has been offering, besides its own tariff plans, tariffs equivalent to those offered by its competitors, TMN and Optimus. Because Telecel believes that its tariff plans are the best, it allows Customers who prefer any of the rates used by competitive operators to choose one of them if they wish to do so. This, in turn, removes the price element from the decision making process, so that Customers can focus on other vital factors for their cellular service, such as coverage and network quality, as well as additional services that are offered and the quality of Customer Support.
