Telecel announces new 20 PTE promotional tariff for international calls
Cellular and fixed network Customers of Telecel will be able to make international calls at 20 PTE (0.1 euros) per minute during off-peak times and on weekends and national holidays. This promotion for international tariffs will include any fixed or cellular network of the countries where most of the phone traffic is destined, namely Spain, France, Germany, United Kingdom, United States and Canada.
The promotion is valid from 7 January to 7 February 2000. This will be the first time in Portugal that an operator has run the same offer to its cellular Customers as its fixed line Customers.

Off-peak time for GSM customers: from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. and from 9 p.m. and 8 a.m.
Off-peak time for fixed network customers: from 7 p.m. to 9 a.m.
