Telecel's "netc" portal delivers donations to two charities
The “netc” portal initiative “Clique for Timor” (a charity donation of 1 PTE for each hit on the home page of “netc” portal), raised 2.006.012 PTE for Timorese National Resistance Council (“CNRT”), following two million, six thousand and twelve hits by “netc” Customers. On Thursday, 6 January, Mr. António Vaz Branco, Telecel’s Vice-President presented this amount to Mrs. Pascuela Barreto, a CNRT representative.
A cheque for 500.000 PTE was also presented to the “Acreditar” (Parents Association of Children with Cancer), represented by Mrs. Ana Correia, the President of the Association. This money was raised in the same way as for CNRT, via donations each time a hit was recorded on the home page of the “netc” portal.
