Telecel’s "netc" launches on-line auction service
Lisbon, 3 August 2000 Telecel’s “netc” Portal has, since 28 July, made an on-line auction service (http://www.netc.pt/leiloes/) available. This service enables private individuals and businesses to put up their goods and services for auction, or put them on sale for a fixed price, free of charge.
The “netc” auctions include a “top 5” of the most popular auctions, “last minute auctions” and the “auction of the day”, which highlights a product which has a starting bid at a very inviting price.
The “netc” auctions are presented in partnership with the Lotes-online site of the Ocasião Network. With around ten thousand registered users and more than 30 main categories of products, Lotes-online are the site that holds the most auctions in Portugal. A meticulous process of confirmation tracks the origin of the product until its delivery to the purchaser, guaranteeing security of transactions and integrity of the auction, thus avoiding any attempt at fraud.
