Telecel Vodafone widens its international coverage
Lisbon, 19 February 2001 Telecel Vodafone customers can now use their mobile phone in Albania, following an agreement with the operator AMC and in Sudan through an agreement with the operator Mobitel.
The Telecel Vodafone roaming service has also been strengthened in Italy, Jordan, Ireland, Moldova and Romania, following deals made with the operators Blu, MobileCom, Meteor, Moldcell and Cosmorom respectively.
Telecel Vodafone has also reinforced its roaming coverage in Russia, in the city of Surgut through an agreement with the operator Ermark, and in Vladivostok following a deal made with the operator NTC.
Telecel Vodafone’s international coverage now includes 95 countries and territories, where its customers can use the cellular service of 194 telecommunications operators.
