Telecel Vodafone renews its sponsorship of Benfica Football Club
Lisbon, 5 April 2001 Telecel Vodafone this afternoon signed a sponsorship deal with Benfica Football Club (Sport Lisboa e Benfica) for next season. This support is part of a whole set of initiatives involving football that range from the sponsorship of other clubs to advertising placards in several stadiums around the country.
As such, Telecel Vodafone continues to invest heavily in sponsorship of the world’s most popular sport, consolidating high levels of publicity achieved with previous sponsorships and aiming to reinforce its positive image amongst the vast football-loving public.
