Telecel Vodafone's Netc wins Best ISP award
Netc has won First Prize in the “Best ISP” category, a distinction bestowed in June by PC Guia magazine.
The Best ISP Award is the joint result of the voting for the 2001 PC Guia Awards and a customer satisfaction survey, both undertaken by the magazine with its readership. Quality, ease of configuration and user-friendliness are considered the main factors that lead users to opt for the Netc Internet access service.
In addition, the children’s site “Casquides” also received an impressive honour: it was the outright winner of the 2001 Web Design awards, conferred by ESTAL – the Lisbon College of Art and Technology.
“Casquides” (www.casquides.pt) is TelecelOnline’s portal aimed exclusively at children. It combines fun with a strong educational element and features a gallery of animal characters – the “Casquides”, each with its own personality and mannerisms, which help children navigate around the portal. The Autor Multimedia agency provided the graphic design and content management for the site.
