Telecel Vodafone – Reductions in cellular communications tariffs for companies

As from 1 August, Telecel Vodafone will be making significant reductions in the tariffs for its NexiCel Plans, which are mainly aimed at the business market.

The following changes will apply from the beginning of August:

  • the rate per minute for calls between phones on the same Telecel Vodafone account will be cut by 0.02 EUR (4 PTE), representing a reduction of over 83% on present rates for calls to the Telecel Vodafone network;
  • the rate per minute for other calls to the Telecel Vodafone network will be cut by 16%, to 0.10 EUR (20 PTE);
  • the rate for calls to the PT fixed network will also be reduced by 16% to 0.10 EUR (20 PTE);
  • the rate per minute for calls to other mobile networks, together with calls to the EU, Switzerland and North America, will fall to 0.35 EUR (70 PTE);
  • the monthly charge for the various NexiCel Plans will be reduced by up to 4%.

    These reductions by Telecel Vodafone reflect the company’s continued commitment to combining quality service with the most competitive rates in the Portuguese telecommunications market.

    Minutes included in NexiCel Plans apply to national calls to the fixed network and other mobile networks, and international calls to the EU, Switzerland and North America. Calls to the Telecel Vodafone network or to supplementary or special services are not included. Unused minutes are carried forward to the next period.
    Minutes in excess of those included in the package are charged in accordance with the published tariffs.
    Calls between phones on the Account, to the fixed network, to other mobile networks and to international destinations are charged in 60-second units. Other calls to the Vodafone network are charged in 1-second units after the first 60 seconds.
    Data transmission and fax calls (at 9.600 bps) between phones on the same account are charged at 0.10 euros (20 PTE) per minute.

    Prices are subject to VAT at the applicable rate
