Vodafone makes Beaches Information available via SMS
As from today, Vodafone’s ‘1514 Beaches Information’ Service will also be available via SMS.
Vodafone customers wanting information on sea and air temperatures or wind and wave conditions at Portugal’s principal beaches can now obtain it by sending a text message (SMS) to the 1514 service. It will continue to be possible to dial 1514 for this information.
The service currently covers the 13 principal beaches in Portugal, including Guincho, Costa da Caparica, Matosinhos, Leça and Figueira da Foz. The charge for the 1514 Service via SMS is 0.47 euros per text message correctly received by the customer.
The above prices include VAT at the applicable rate.
