Lisbon, 29 August 2007 – Vodafone Portugal has today launched a unique promotion enabling all its customers who subscribe to its Duplex ADSL service by 30 September 2007 to benefit from speeds of up to 24Mbps for only €9.90 a month until 31 March 2008. This promotion includes unlimited traffic for 24 months and the offer of portability of the customer’s fixed phone number.

This promotion is being automatically awarded to all customers who already subscribe to Vodafone Casa Duplex ADSL and is part of the plan of initiatives associated with the launch of Vodafone’s ADSL service, linked to the completion this summer of a major expansion of its network coverage.

Vodafone Casa Duplex ADSL also includes voice calls without standing charges, with free calls to the fixed network and the best rates to mobile networks, and allows customers to use their existing phone and keep their landline phone number.

It also continues to be the only offer on the market to include ‘Immediate Activation’, allowing customers to access the Internet on the same day that they acquire the ADSL service. To provide that, Vodafone supplies a Mobile Broadband 3G PC card, with free browsing included, while the customer waits for the ADSL service to be activated.

Lastly, for customers who want to combine the high speeds of the in-home ADSL service with mobile Internet access, Vodafone Casa Duplex ADSL offers use of Vodafone’s Mobile Broadband service for only €3 a day (only charged on those days that the customer uses the service).
