SIC Notícias and Rally de Portugal now on Vodafone Mobile TV
Lisbon, 8 May 2008 From tomorrow, Vodafone will be offering the SIC Notícias news channel on its Mobile TV service.
With the live broadcast of almost the whole of the channels programming, the launch of SIC Notícias will enable Vodafone to achieve one of its objectives: to offer Vodafone Mobile TV customers access to the more important national channels.
As a promotional offer, the SIC Notícias news channel will be provided free of charge to all Vodafone 3G customers until 31 May. Access to the channel will be via the Vodafone live! 3G portal.
From 1 June 2008, the SIC Notícias channel will be included in the Basic Package of channels of the Mobile TV service available to all customers who subscribe to one of the services subscription options 24-hour subscription (0.90 euros), 7-day subscription (1.99 euros) or 30-day subscription (7.50 euros).
Today, in partnership with RTP Mobile, Vodafone launched an exclusive channel with complete coverage of the Vodafone Rally de Portugal 2008 on mobile phones.
As well as live coverage of the stages, this channel also offers interviews with the participants and up to date reports on the Rally. Access to the channel is free for all Vodafone 3G customers.
These two launches reinforce Vodafones commitment to the Mobile TV service and in particular the offer of an attractive range of TV channels that meet its customers’ expectations and interests.
The Vodafone Mobile TV service now offers a selection of 28 channels including, in addition to the three generalist national channels, quality channels such as AXN, MTV Music, Panda, Discovery Mobile, CNN and the History Channel, among many others.
