New ANIMAX channel for Vodafone Mobile TV service
Lisbon, 1 July 2008 Vodafone today launched the new ANIMAX channel on its Mobile TV service.
Aimed at the youth segment, the new ANIMAX channel offers the best of Japanese animation series: Blood , Last Exile, ROD the TV, and The Count of Monte Cristo are just some of the animation classics that feature in the channels programming.
The ANIMAX channel will be available free of charge to all customers from 15 July 2008 on the Vodafone live! 3G portal.
From 16 July 2008, the ANIMAX channel will be included in the Basic Package of channels of the Mobile TV service available to all customers who subscribe to one of the services subscription options: 24-hour subscription (0.89 euros), 7-day subscription (1.97 euros) or 30-day subscription (7.44 euros).
With the launch of this channel, the Vodafone Mobile TV will have 27 television channels including the 4 national channels (RTP Mobile, SIC, TVI and SIC Notícias) and well-known international channels such as AXN, MTV Music, Panda, Discovery Mobile, CNN, and the History Channel, among many others.
