Vodafone celebrates Valentine's Day with novel promotions and initiatives

Lisbon, 9 February 2009 – Vodafone Portugal has devised a range of initiatives for Valentine’s Day, 14 February, to help lovers to enjoy the day more fully.

Between 14 and 17 February, Vodafone customers will be able to call a Vodafone mobile number of their choice for 0 cents a minute. Customers wishing to benefit from this promotion simply need to make a free call to 1274 by 12 February. The subscription cost is 1 euro. All customers of Vodafone personal plans can take advantage of this promotion except Vodafone Direct and Vodafone Casa customers.

Under the slogans ‘Make her fall head over heels’ and ‘Win his heart with words’, Vodafone suggests, respectively, buying a Nokia 7100 Supernova (79.90 euros including trade-in) with the offer of a mini Bourjois make-up set (1 mini nail polish, 1 mini eye shadow and 1 mini gloss), and a Nokia 5310 XpressMusic (114.90 euros including trade-in) with the offer of a BluetoothTM earpiece.

Those who want to mark the day with a special dedication also have the opportunity to engrave a text or symbols free of charge on mobile phones bought in Vodafone’s Online Shop by 13 February. The choice of content, colour, font and positioning of the engraving are up to the customer. Every day, the most original phrase will win a weekend for two at the Vodafone Ski Resort in the Serra da Estrela, with equipment hire and everything included.

Good moments call for the right mood music, so Vodafone is offering a number of romantic tunes and ringtones at the special price of 0.98 euros on the Vodafone live! 3G portal. ‘If I Were A Boy’ by Beyoncé, ‘Bleeding Love’ by Leona Lewis, ‘My Life Would Suck Without You’ by Kelly Clarkson and ‘Love in This Club’ by Usher are just some of the songs featured in Vodafone’s music services.

Vodafone is therefore providing its customers with the opportunity to use its wide range of services in an original way and on even more c
