Vodafone Portugal selects Media Agency

Lisbon, 4 March 2009 – Tempo OMD is the media agency chosen by Vodafone Portugal in a tender launched by the mobile operator to select the organisation responsible for media buying and planning.

The selection process boiled an initial group of five agencies down to a shortlist of three, which were then object of a more detailed analysis.

During the tender process, Vodafone evaluated criteria such as negotiating and buying capacity, strategic planning and campaign planning expertise, creativity, and the services, team and tools and systems offered.

Tempo OMD is part of Omnicom Media Group Portugal and has been Vodafone Portugal’s media agency since July 2003.
