Vodafone FM radio to start in early 2011

Lisbon, 21 December 2010 – Vodafone FM – a new radio station in Portugal – will begin broadcasting early next year.

Exclusively broadcasting music, the new Vodafone FM radio station is a groundbreaking project in Europe and will focus on music creation and promoting new bands and artists. It is geared towards a young, irreverent, imaginative, interactive urban audience open to new musical experiences.

Vodafone FM is aligned with Vodafone’s communications strategy and positioning in this segment, enabling the brand to reinforce its association with music, following a proposal presented to Vodafone Portugal by Media Capital Radios.
