New Vodafone Mobile Data and Internet Roaming Tariff gives savings of up to 90%
Vodafone has just launched a Daily Roaming Data Tariff specially for customers who use mobile Internet and other data services. With this new tariff, access to mobile roaming data has become much more affordable, giving savings of up to 90% on the current standard roaming data tariff.
Subscribing customers benefit from the most competitive tariff in the market for roaming data with low commitment: 5/day for 5MB of bandwidth and a price of 0.98/10KB after the pack is used up, which works out at 1/MB. In addition, to give customers even greater flexibility, Vodafone charges only 1 if the daily usage does not exceed 1MB.
As many customers use BlackBerry, iPhone and Vodafone 360 phones and access the Internet several times a day incurring very low consumption, the billing interval for this tariff is only 10KB, allowing more economical use of the included calls pack.
This tariff is available for use in the main destinations popular with Portuguese travellers in 37 countries: the European Union, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, Switzerland (via the operator Swisscom) and on Vodafone Operators worldwide. Outside these destinations the customer’s basic roaming data tariff applies.
Subscription is free and can be activated by calling 16912 or at any Vodafone shop. It is available to all Voice customers with roaming data access with the exception of Vodafone Direct customers.
