New CFO for Vodafone Portugal
Lisbon, 10 January 2011 João Henriques today becomes the new CFO (Chief Financial Officer) of Vodafone Portugal, taking over from João Couto who has held the position since July 2008 and who now becomes CFO of Vodafone Group Commercial.
New CFO João Henriques began his career as an invited lecturer at the Higher Technical Institute and has occupied various positions at BCG (Boston Consulting Group) since 1999. A principal at BCG since 2006, João Henriques held project leadership and coordination responsibilities in the telecommunications sector.
In addition to his sound knowledge of the telecommunications market and business, João Henriques also has a degree in Electrical Engineering from the Higher Technical Institute and an MBA from INSEAD.
