Vodafone Moments gives away roast chestnuts in Porto and Lisbon

Lisbon, 7 November 2011 – Vodafone Portugal is celebrating autumn on the streets of Porto and Lisbon with another ‘Vodafone Moments’ initiative, this time giving away roast chestnuts.

This year the initiative starts in Porto, outside the Vodafone Building on Avenida da Boavista, on 7 November. It then moves on to the Rotunda da Boavista, where it will stay from 8 to 10 November. Its rounds of the city of Porto do not end there, however. There will also be ‘Vodafone Moments’ at the Rotunda da Circunvalação, the Rotunda do Castelo do Queijo, near the S. João Hospital and outside the Casa da Música, between 7 and 10 November.

‘Vodafone Moments’ then sets off for Lisbon, where it will be during 14-18 November. It will kick off at the Vodafone Action Store in Parque das Nações on 14 November. Between then and 18 November, the initiative will visit Saldanha, Marquês de Pombal, Terreiro do Paço, Rua Augusta and Praça da Figueira. There will also be ‘Vodafone Moments’ in Avenida de Roma between 15 and 18 November.

The gift of roast chestnuts in all these places will take place between 12 am and 7 pm.

A pioneer in this type of initiative, over the years Vodafone Portugal has organised special and unique moments for passers-by, at various times giving away roast chestnuts, tea, coffee and hot chocolate, popcorn, ‘bolas de neve’ sweets, fruit lollipops, bottled water, ice creams, inflatable armchairs and cushions, sprays, Fundão cherries, beach bags and water pistols.
