Vodafone launches the first device with speeds up to 300 Mbps – the Vodafone 4G B4000

In December, Vodafone’s mobile network was the first in Portugal and one of the first in the world to achieve download speeds of 300 Mbps on its 4G network, doubling the previous maximum speed of 150 Mbps.LTE-Advanced will undergo various developments in the future that will provide even higher bandwidth to users.Speeds of 450 Mbps and 600 Mbps are already laboratory realities using Carrier Aggregation or MIMO technologies and will have practical application in the medium term.

Vodafone also monitors the development of the capabilities of handsets that will support these future speeds and develops its network so that it can offer its customers the latest technological advances.At present, the Vodafone 4G B4000 router now launched supports up to 64 users connected simultaneously and has a range of 300 metres.
