Vodafone awarded “Best of Test” seal from DECO PROTESTE in mobile Internet and TV use
Vodafone mobile Internet distinguished for the fourth time running by DECO PROTESTE. Use of TV over fibre service also receives “Best of Test” seal
Vodafone Portugal’s mobile Internet was again recognized by DECO PROTESTE as the ‘Best of Test’, measured by the QualRede app, which allows any customer of telecommunications services to test their mobile Internet’s quality and speed.
This distinction has been given for the fourth consecutive time, with Vodafone always in the lead in every indicator tested: upload and download speed, web browsing and video streaming. With 15,951 points, Vodafone was far ahead of its competitors, with second place receiving 7,301 points and third place receiving 4,864.
In addition, the use of Vodafone’s TV by fibre service was given the ‘Best of Test” seal of DECO PROTESTE. Along with measuring equipment consumption in a laboratory and tests by a panel of consumers of differing ages and technical knowledge, Vodafone’s television service stood out, among other things, for its fast and convenient channel surfing, well-designed electronic program guide and recording scheduling, and user-friendly browsing and content localization.
Vodafone has stood out in the telecommunications sector for the constant awards received by key companies. In addition to DECO PROTESTE, the company has also been continuously recognized by the international consultant P3 group as the best national telecommunications network in terms of voice quality and mobile data.
Along these lines, Vodafone was again distinguished by the European Customer Satisfaction Index (ECSI), winning all five categories in the telecommunications sector. Consumer satisfaction surveys – conducted in partnership by the Portuguese Quality Institute, Portuguese Quality Association and NOVA Information Management School of the Universidade Nova de Lisboa – have concluded that Vodafone’s customers are the most satisfied with regard to fixed network, mobile network, fixed Internet, mobile Internet and television services.
These distinctions once again recognize Vodafone’s ongoing commitment of bringing its customers the best fixed and mobile services in the domestic market, thereby ensuring their utmost satisfaction. They also reaffirm the company’s position as a global communications operator with a convergent offering, thanks to investments in modernizing and expanding its structures and a focus on next-generation networks.
As a leader in innovation, brand image and customer satisfaction, Vodafone Portugal offers nationwide network coverage to nearly 3 million homes and companies with its latest generation fibre-optic network, and more than 4.7 million customers with its mobile network.
