Telecel invites Portuguese architects for designing the project of its new headquarters
Telecel will invite some of the most prestigious portuguese architects to participate in a “Contest of Ideas”, aiming to select the final project for the building of its new headquarters in Parque das Nações.
Telecel wants this new headquarters to be a high quality architectonic building, both from the practical point of view and aesthetic, and one of the most distinguished not only in Parque das Nações, but also in the city of Lisbon.
Telecel Administration and representatives of personnel from Telecel, Lisbon Town Hall, Parque Expo and Ordem dos Arquitectos will compose the jury of “Contest of Ideas”
The “Consultation Process”, that can be obtained after June 21st, establishes an answering deadline for the next July 27th, 1999.
Telecel headquarters will be built in two parcels of land, near Gare do Oriente and facing the former Portuguese Pavilion, limited south by Alameda dos Oceanos and north by Av. D. João II. The building will have an area of around 30,000 sqm above the ground, and the deadline for its conclusion is July 31st, 2002.
