Telecel Vodafone is the only mobile phone operator in Portugal with roaming in 100 countries
Lisbon, 12 July 2001 As from today, Telecel Vodafone becomes the first mobile phone operator in Portugal to offer its customers roaming services in 100 countries around the world. Uganda becomes the 100th country where the service is now available, via the CelTel network.
Over recent months, Telecel Vodafone has extended its international coverage to include China and the Maldives, and enlarged its service in Kenya, Russia, Belgium, India, Singapore and Bosnia-Herzegovina.
