Lisbon, 2 July 2003 Vodafone and YDreams launch Thursday, 3 July, a game for mobile phones that breaks new ground in this type of entertainment around the world.
Developed in Portugal, the game, which is based on the players real location, can be executed using Java technology (for Vodafone live! handsets) as well as SMS. It is a multi-player game that takes place in the players real time, throughout the 24 hours of the day.
Entitled Undercover, the games scenario is the fictional story of the theft of Russian documents containing research data on the DNA of lethal bacteria, from which terrorist networks around the world try to create biological weapons. To combat the threat, governments establish a new international anti-terrorist agency, made up of the players playing the game.
