Vodafone will put the Samsung Galaxy S III on sale in Portugal on 14 June 2012. From today www.vodafone.pt provides a pre-registration facility for people who want first-hand access to Samsung’s most advanced smartphone.

The Samsung Galaxy S III will be available in a 16GB version, and subsequently in a 32GB version, the latter an exclusive launch by Vodafone in Portugal. This smartphone has a 1.4 GHz quad core processor, 4.8” Super Amoled HD touch screen and includes information sharing functionalities such as S Beam, to share all kinds of files, and AllShare Play, which allows access to multimedia content stored on a PC, tablet or television.

The Samsung Galaxy S III is a smartphone that identifies the intentions of the user through functions such as Smart Stay, which recognises when the user is looking at the screen and adjusts the brightness level accordingly, S Voice, which executes voice commands and Social Tag, which links faces on photographs to their respective profiles on social networks, also allowing direct connection with these contacts.

Furthermore, innovations such as Direct Call are included, which is an easy and fast way of ringing, simply from the contact page or sending a text message and putting the telephone to your ear to start the call, and Pop Up Play, which allows you to watch a video while the telephone performs other tasks.
