Vodafone revolutionises its offer with the launch of Vodafone Red

Vodafone is launching tomorrow in Portugal Vodafone Red – a comprehensive, flexible telecommunications offer that enables customers to choose mobile and fixed services tailored to their needs, including television, and to use them without worrying about additional costs.

Vodafone Red offers a wide range of mobile communications at no cost, including calls and SMS to all networks and 4G mobile Internet data packs. These data packs can also be used with tablets or PCs. Vodafone Red also includes the Vodafone Extreme community and Yorn (Extravaganza, W and Study), a particularly important benefit given that Vodafone Portugal is the leader in the youth segment (over 63% of customers in the market*) and all these users will now be able to talk and send SMS at no cost to Vodafone Red customers.

In addition, Vodafone Red customers will be able to continue to use the communications included in their price plan when they are roaming and will have free access to the Vodafone Protect and Vodafone Cloud services, as well as purchasing the best smartphones at exclusive discounts.

Vodafone Red is available for consumer customers from €34.90 per month with the option to add a second number at a discount which works out at just €19.90 per month. For corporate customers, the company is launching Vodafone Red Pro which among other benefits enables customers to associate a landline number to their mobile at no extra cost which they can also answer on the move, and will also benefit from call management on the two numbers via the Vodafone One Net facility.

Vodafone Red also enables customers to subscribe to the Vodafone Tv Net Voz fixed home service at a cost of only €24.90 a month. Using Vodafone’s fibre network, customers will also have access to over 100 TV channels, 100 Mbps Internet and unlimited calls to national and international fixed networks in 30 countries. Options of fixed services specifically aimed at businesses are also available.

Vodafone is also reinforcing its emphasis on the fixed network. Currently available to around 500,000 homes in Greater Lisbon and Greater Porto, Vodafone’s fibre network coverage will be progressively extended to more than 1 million homes. With this enhanced fibre network, together with the immediate availability of the ADSL network to customers throughout the country, Vodafone will further strengthen its television service in Portugal, whose quality has been recognised by the market and in independent surveys such as the Marktest Telecommunications Barometer, in which Vodafone scores the highest satisfaction levels in most of the parameters surveyed.

The Vodafone Red offer is commercially available from tomorrow, further demonstrating the truth of the strapline ‘power to you’ by giving clear benefits to the brand’s customers through Vodafone’s unique benefits: better value, the best network, the best phones at the best prices, greater simplicity and more services.

This launch will be accompanied by a major advertising campaign in all media which will promote the wide range of benefits included in the new offer under the motto ‘Vodafone Red is all good things’.
