Under this sponsorship, Vodafone will have a strong brand presence in the Algarve stadium and in media associated with the event. It will also organise a range of initiatives associated with the competition, aimed at its customers.
“This association is intended to strengthen Vodafone’s association with biggest and most important sporting events in Portugal. We want to be the brand that stands alongside the Portuguese at the most important moments. This is one of those moments”, said Mário Vaz, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Vodafone Portugal.
Fernando Gomes, President of the Portuguese Football Federation said, “It is an honour for the PFF to have Vodafone as a partner in this competition which marks the start of the football season. This clearly shows the potential and the variety of the Federation’s portfolio, and its dynamism in the market.”
The Portugal Supercup will be played on 9 August at the Algarve Stadium and is the first official match after the usual holiday break.
