IoT, Cloud and Security solutions in the spotlight at the first campaign of the Vodafone Business brand
Announcement reinforces Vodafone’s focus on digital transformation at Portuguese companies.
- Vodafone Business is the Group’s new global brand for the corporate segment
Vodafone Portugal will be launching a new campaign for the corporate segment today, 31 January. This announcement reinforces the commitment which Vodafone made public one year ago: to be the technology partner for the Portuguese business world’s digital transformation.
The campaign, the first of its kind under “Vodafone Business” – the Vodafone Group’s global brand for the corporate segment, launched at the end of last year – shows once again that all organizations, regardless of size or business sector, can benefit from an alliance with a technology partner of trust, working from a standpoint of co-creation, by identifying real customer needs and concerns and developing solutions tailored to these individual needs.
Developed by J. Walter Thompson, the communication illustrates several business environments which have undergone a complete digital transformation, capitalizing on a world of new solutions capable of transforming businesses and creating unexplored opportunities.
The Internet of Things, Cloud and Security are the three drivers of digital transformation featured in this communication:
Internet of Things
The Internet of Things (IoT) connects machines and devices to the Internet, transforming them into intelligent assets which communicate with the world around them. They are equipped with technology to capture, exchange and send information to a single platform. In this platform, the data is analysed and translated into significant information for business analytics.
The Internet of Things helps companies in four main areas: customer experience; more assertive decision-making; predictive management; and sustainability and the environment.
Cloud
The Cloud is one of the main drivers of companies’ digital transformations. In addition to testing new developments in a secure environment, it allows business information to be shared safely to accelerate companies’ innovation processes.
Security
At a time when the boundaries between the physical and virtual worlds are increasingly less perceptible, with cyber threats becoming more and more sophisticated, security has become a priority item on organizations’ agendas.
The Vodafone Group’s “2018 Cyber-Ready Barometer” shows that 48% of the companies who use security solutions have increased their revenues by 5%.
The film was directed by Enrique Escamilla and produced by Garage Films, with the production centre Film Brokers and media agency Wavemaker. The campaign will be done on television, digital, radio and press through the end of February.
