      We have always been in the front line when it comes to introducing new Technologies and developing mobile data services. We pioneered the development of EFR, Dual Band, WAP, 2.5G/GPRS, HSCSD, MMS, 3G/UMTS and 3.5G/HSPA networks in Portugal, having also been the first Portuguese operator to offer 3G services in the market and to perform the first live demonstration of the 4G/LTE technology.

At Vodafone we have a powerful technology in which we have largely invested trying to get the most of its capabilities and offering our Customers extremely competitive services. We are continually developing and enhancing our service offerings, complementing our focus on the third generation (3G) mobile technology with other technologies that contribute to our Customers’ best experience.
