Telecel Reduces Tariffs Up To 28% and Introduces Total 15 and Privado 60
On 15 July 1998, Telecel will reduce the tariffs applicable to the communications performed outside the minutes included in the “Pack Plan” up to about 28%. Billing periods of 30 seconds will also be introduced during peak time in communications to other networks.
Also on 15 July 1998, Telecel will introduce two new pricing plans: “Pack Total 15”, which includes 15 minutes of national calls that can be used during peak and off peak time; and, “Pack Privado 60”, which offers four times more minutes to be used during the off peak time. Both plans cost 2,450 PTE (without VAT) for the minutes outlined above.
The tariff reduction and the new “Pack Plans” are part of a strategy whose objective is to continue to have a competitive and diversified offer for each customer segment, able to satisfy different usage levels.
Today, Telecel tariff plans are divided in two groups: Vitamina T, R, K and P prepaid plans and Regular pricing plans. Regular Pricing Plans include “Pack Plans” with no monthly fee, now available in four “Total” plans and four “Privado” plans, and also Normal and Mais plans for more frequent usage.
