Telecel expands international coverage to Hawaii, Fiji Islands and Seychelles

Telecel has recently celebrated new roaming agreements, reinforcing international coverage and expanding it to some well-known holiday destinations.

As from August 2nd, Customers can use the service of the North American operator Western Wireless (Voice Stream), whose coverage includes Hawaii islands. After that day, Customers can also have access to the service in Fiji Islands in South Pacific in Vodafone Fiji network. On July 27th, the service was made available in Seychelles, through Cable and Wireless Seychelles.

Telecel’s international coverage in Africa is now extended to one more country: Ivory Coast, where, since August 6, customers can use SIM Ivoiris network. On the other hand, since July 28, Customers of the prepaid services ‘Vitamin’ are able to use Telefónica Móviles (Movistar) network for using roaming service in Spain. This service follows the same guidelines as the one already in use by Customers of ‘Vitamin’ services in the other spanish network – Airtel.

With these last agreements, international coverage in Telecel, through the network of 130 international operators in mobile communications, will now include 69 countries from Europe, Africa, Middle East, India, Asia, Oceania, Pacific and North America.
