Vodafone SoundClash! to be broadcast live, exclusively on mobiles and TV
Lisbon, 5 September 2007 As part of the Vodafone Music project, Vodafone will be broadcasting the Vodafone SoundClash! event to be held at the Pavilhão Atlântico in Lisbon on 7 September live and exclusively on its Mobile TV service and on SIC Radical. Henrique Amaro, GNR, The Gift, Blasted Mechanism, Boss AC and Dezperados will star in what promises to be an innovative and unforgettable event.
A new channel will be provided on the Vodafone Mobile TV service for the live transmission of Vodafone SoundClash! from 8.30 pm on 7 September. This is the chance for all those who did not win tickets in the various competitions organised by Vodafone during August to watch this celebration of Portuguese music.
The broadcasting of music events on the Vodafone Mobile TV service is part of Vodafone Portugals strategy of offering appealing and innovative music content on its Vodafone live! portal. The Vodafone Mobile TV service currently offers a choice of 26 mobile television channels including the three national channels (RTP Mobile, SIC and TVI) and various well-known international channels (AXN, MTV, CNN, Panda and many others).
