Vodafone takes customers to Las Vegas to see Madonna live in concert

Lisbon, 14 October 2008 – In yet another Take Off initiative, four Portuguese will have the unique and unforgettable opportunity to travel to Las Vegas to attend Madonna’s live show on November 9 at the MGM Grand.

In a competition that will run until October 26, the person whose suitcase has the most creative decoration and contents in tune with the initiative and their desire to attend the Queen of Pop’s concert in Las Vegas will be chosen.

The winner may take three friends, with whom to spend three truly memorable days. Besides the Madonna concert, Vodafone will give them the chance to see the most iconic places in Las Vegas, with the highlight being the fantastic Stratosphere.

All information about Vodafone Take Off Las Vegas is available at www.vodafone.pt and the winner, the one whose suitcase best depicts the Las Vegas style, will be contacted by October 27.

The Take Off initiatives are part of Vodafone’s investment in music and offer unique experiences to their customers and friends, taking them to major musical events held abroad.

The last two initiatives in this program took place in April, 2008, when two Portuguese travelled to New York to attend the show where Madonna sang songs from the album “Hard Candy” live for the first time, and Justin Timberlake took the stage to sing the single “4 Minutes”; and in November 2007, when Vodafone took four Portuguese to Munich to attend the MTV Europe Music Awards 2007, featuring live performances by Amy Winehouse, Avril Lavigne, the Foo Fighters, Mika, My Chemical Romance and Tokio Hotel, among others.
