Lisbon, 17 November 2009 – Vodafone today launched the Vodafone 360 Samsung M1 (the second handset designed exclusively for Vodafone by Samsung), enabling users to access all Vodafone 360 services from an advanced, competitively priced smartphone.

The Vodafone 360 Samsung M1 has a 3.2” TFT touch screen with 16 million colours, 1 GB of internal memory expandable with an additional card, 3.6 Mbps HSDPA, push e-mail, audio and video recording, up to 500 minutes talktime, a 3 megapixel camera with an 8x digital zoom and is available in black, white and orange. It has a single interface with 3D visualisation that enables users to access their most frequently contacted family and friends as soon as the phone is switched on.

The phone can be purchased for 199.90 euros without a contract, or from 49.90 euros with a 24-month contract. Vodafone is offering the Aditivo Internet 250 MB for 3 months as a promotion with purchases of this phone.

Vodafone 360, launched in October, offers a range of innovative Internet services for mobile phones and PCs that revolutionise how users interact with their phone by providing a single, fully integrated mobile Internet experience. Vodafone 360 brings together in one place all the user’s phone, e-mail, Google, Facebook, Windows Live Messenger and, shortly, Twitter contacts and enables users to obtain or publish status updates, providing an unprecedented user experience of social networks.

Users also have integrated access to their music content, photos, games, applications and maps and can share their favourite music tracks and even their geographical location with selected friends. Vodafone 360 also offers the best Internet access and the ability to download apps from the Vodafone Store. The service automatically synchronises the user’s mobile phone and computer at www.360.com, ensuring that the customer’s content, including e-mails, photos, apps, status or contact updates, and definition changes, is kept permanently up-to-date.

Vodafone 360 services are now available on the two exclusive Samsung H1 and M1 smartphones, various Nokia models and over the next few months will be available on a large number of phones and operating systems from various manufacturers.
