Vodafone strengthens Casa TV service with TVI24 and other 5 channels
Lisbon, 29 September 2010 From today onwards Vodafone is supplying TVI24 as one of its channels broadcast through the Vodafone Casa TV service.
TVI24 is the news channel of TVI which keeps viewers up to date with all the national and international news. This channel is now part of the TV Basic Package and is available, at no extra cost, in position 7 in the list of channels supplied by the Vodafone Casa TV service.
The Vodafone Casa TV service has been further boosted by the supply of the following channels: KidsCo (Childrens), Económico TV HD and SD (News) and Yes Itália (Travel). These channels are now available in the TV Basic Package.
Also noteworthy is the launch of the new Sport TV Liga Inglesa channel (available in position 24 in the list of channels). This channel, entirely dedicated to the Premier League, will broadcast all the matches from the English League in High Definition and is included in the Sport TV HD Package at no extra charge.
By the end of October Vodafone is to further broaden its range of channels with three additional ones: JimJam (Childrens), The Food Network (the first culinary channel broadcast in Portugal) and Brava HDTV (Music).
With a wide array of around 120 television channels (including 14 channels in High Definition and one 3D channel) and a Basic Package of over 70 channels which includes Portugals most popular channels, Vodafone is sticking to its stated commitment of providing the best television service to Vodafone Casa TV customers.
