Vodafone FM wins Media & Education category at 2011 Sapo Awards

Lisbon, 28 October 2011 – Vodafone FM’s website (, produced by Outbox Ativism, has won a Sapo Award in the Media and Education category. The award was presented yesterday evening at the 2011 Sapo Awards ceremony.

Vodafone FM was launched on 26 January 2011 and is broadcast 24 hours a day, 7 days a week on the 107.2 MHz frequency in Greater Lisbon and on 94.3 MHz in Greater Porto and on around the world.

The jury for the 2011 Sapo Awards consisted of Alberto Rui, managing director of Initiative, António Filipe, marketing director of McDonald’s, Elsa Pereira, development manager of Sonae MC’s loyalty programme, José Pedro Dias Pinheiro, CEO of Group M, Miguel Ralha, executive director of B.A.R., Nuno Silveira, Brand Operations Senior Manager of Procter & Gamble, and Tiago Alvorão, creative director of NormaJean.
