Vodafone Portugal launches Vodafone Cloud for mobile phones, tablets and PCs
Lisbon, 13 December 2011 Vodafone Portugal today launched Vodafone Cloud, an exclusive service that enables users to back up and access photos, videos, music files, documents and other content anywhere from a mobile phone, tablet or PC.
With this launch, Vodafone is providing a much needed, extremely useful and easy-to-use service which enables customers to access their digital content easily and securely anytime, anywhere from any device with an Internet connection.
On mobile phones, the service is available in the form of an app for Android smartphones (from Android Market and the Vodafone AppSelect Shop) and there will shortly be a version for the iPhone. The download of the app can be requested by sending a free SMS to 12345, containing the word CLOUD.
For PCs, the service is available to Vodafone customers from http://cloud.vodafone.pt and via an application for PCs.
Vodafone is offering 5MB of storage completely free to all its customers, with no subscription or joining charge. Customers who want more space for their digital content can subscribe to a monthly 10GB package for only 1.39 or other options with more storage space up to 30GB.
