Vodafone sponsors and lends its name to the Paredes de Coura festival
The Paredes de Coura festival has showcased music for over twenty years and is set to grow further in 2013 thanks to Vodafone Portugal’s sponsorship. This brand’s sponsorship extends its musical links outside the major urban centres with a select billing aligned with the musical positioning of Vodafone FM Radio, which is associating itself with the festival. The Vodafone Paredes de Coura festival is distinguished from other summer festivals by its different musical experience, which offers visitors a unique atmosphere and setting in Portugal.
The shared aesthetic and conceptual vision between Vodafone and the festival were strengthened in 2012, enhanced by their experience with the Vodafone FM Stage and the Yorn activities in the festival arena, and will return in full force in the coming edition of the festival. In the natural amphitheatre of Taboão River Beach, the Vodafone Paredes de Coura festival will be the setting for the unveiling of new talent, the confirmation of the promises of Portuguese and international music, the celebration of some and the delight of everybody.
The Paredes de Coura festival has long been famous among the concert-going public and artists, who this year have earned it a place on the shortlist of nominations for the Europe Festival Awards in the ‘Artists’ Favourite Festival’ category.
This month the first confirmed artists will be announced and the first ‘Fan Packs’ will come on sale at FNAC, priced at 70 euros. These include a general pass for all days of the Vodafone Paredes de Coura festival and an exclusive offer.
