The Vodafone ticket giveaway for Rock in Rio-Lisbon 2012
Vodafone Portugal is again marking its sponsorship of Rock in Rio-Lisbon festival with a range of initiatives that gives fans of the biggest music and entertainment event in the world the chance to win hundreds of entrance tickets.
The first of these initiatives has just started on the official Vodafone Portugal Facebook page, and will provide the winners of the ‘Don’t be caught napping – Go to the Rock in Rio!’ contest with a truly unforgettable experience, accommodated in one of the celebrated ‘Vodafone 5 Star’ rooms that are back for this year’s edition.
This contest entails five challenges – Pyjama Party, Quiz Alarm, Sleep Attack, Pillow Fight and Stage Diving – launched on a weekly basis. Each week two winners will have the right to stay at the ‘Vodafone 5 Star’ and 50 tickets will be given out for one of the Rock in Rio-Lisbon days.
This year Lisbon has again been adorned with the giant guitar countdown clocks installed on the capital’s ring road (2ª Circular), Avenida das Forças Armadas and Praça de Espanha. As well as counting down the time until the doors of the Rock City 2012 open, the guitars provide information about the acts at the event and the Vodafone initiatives that give fans the chance to win tickets for Rock in Rio-Lisbon 2012.
In May, Vodafone will again be reserving the best places (the Best Seat Vodafone) at the Rock in Rio-Lisbon 2012, with a superb view over the World Stage and VIP treatment, for the winners of the now famous Sofa Race that will be held in a place to be announced.
Through the sponsorship of Rock in Rio-Lisbon, Vodafone is again associating itself to what will certainly be the biggest music festival in Portugal in 2012, continuing a connection that now dates back 8 years.
Rock in Rio-Lisbon 2012 will be held on 25 and 26 May and 1, 2 and 3 June, at the Bela Vista Park in Lisbon. The following artists, among many others, have already confirmed their presence at the event: Bruce Springsteen, Linkin Park, Smashing Pumpkins, The Offspring, Limp Bizkit and Maroon 5.
