Sara Oliveira becomes Director of Brand and Communications at Vodafone Portugal
An economics graduate from Lisbon’s New University majoring in business economics, Sara Oliveira has 16 years’ experience in management, having previously held positions in Customer & Shopper Brand Management in Portugal. After a sabbatical in Boston, USA, where she was vice-president of the Portuguese-American Postgraduate Society (PAPS), she was responsible for Brand Innovation Development for the Lipton Ice Tea brand at Pepsi Lipton International in Paris, France.
For the past three years she has been Global Marketing Director and a member of the Executive Board of Gallo Worldwide, a joint venture between Unilever and Jerónimo Martins, where she was responsible for the global relaunch of the brand, including the brand’s entry into China and Russia, the development of marketing activities in Brazil and the first marketing campaign in Angola and internationally.
She now takes up the challenge of leading Vodafone Portugal’s Brand and Communications Department responsible for all the Company’s initiatives in Brand, Advertising and Communication, Insights & Research, Public Relations and Customer Experience.
