Vodafone Paredes de Coura festival to begin in Porto in April

This year's Vodafone Paredes de Coura festival will start earlier. Over two days in Porto, the build-up to the festival will start with the Vodafone Paredes de Coura Warm-up. On 12 and 13 April, Praça D. João I, in front of the Rivoli Theatre, will play host to Portuguese and international artists in a bill filled with vibrant new sounds.

This warm-up to the iconic summer festival held on Taboão river beach features will feature performances by Capitão Fausto, Everything Everything, Lee Ranaldo Band, Linda Martini, Matias Aguayo, No Age, Omar Souleyman, Sensible Soccers, Stealing Sheep, The Wedding Present and Veronica Falls. €25 two-day passes and €15 daily tickets are available from today from the usual outlets.

Fans and listeners will get the chance to win tickets in the competitions that will be launched on the Facebook pages of Vodafone and Vodafone Music and on Vodafone FM Radio. Vodafone FM, the event’s official radio station, will broadcast live concerts from a studio in Praça D. João I.

Between this spring warm-up and the summer festival (13-17 August) Vodafone will continue to organise initiatives with the offer of free passes to Vodafone Paredes de Coura.
