Telecel introduces Vitamina P for the professional segment
On 14 November 1997, TELECEL launched a new pre-paid product targeted at the professional segment. The product is designed to be attractive to the user who has more frequent and more demanding usage in terms of services available, but also has a need to control costs. The offer is as follows:
30% discount (to Vitamina T) on the calls to other national networks (peak and off peak).
30% discount (to Vitamina T) on International traffic to EU countries.
Vitamina P is available in two versions depending on the handset: 99,900 PTE (Philips Genie the smallest and lightest GSM telephone in the world); or 59,900 PTE plus 10 x 2,500 PTE deducted from the first 10 recharges (Siemens S10, the only handset with color screen). In both cases 10,000 PTE of calls are included.
Minimum recharge is 12,000 PTE every two months, and can be done in increments of 12,000 PTE, 18,000 PTE or 24,000 PTE.
Vitamina P free of charge offers the following functionalities: data and fax transmission; SMS; Fax Mail and roaming with Spain.
Other important elements of Vitamina P, which are common to other Vitamina products, are available with no additional charge: no monthly fee; advise of charge in the handset screen; monthly detailed bill; caller identification; and the VitaCarga, VitaInforma and VitaConsulta services, which allow the customer to recharge his her card through the handset, and obtain information on how to activate the service or on the recharge due date.
