Lisbon, 27 November 2000 Pedro Silva Nunes has become Telecel’s new Marketing Director. Following reorganisation of the marketing function, he will direct the Central Marketing Department, which has now absorbed the company’s former Communications Marketing Department.
Pedro Silva Nunes was previously – since 1998 – Director of Development at Jerónimo Martins Distribuição, with responsibility for identifying new business opportunities. Before that, he was Assistant Brand Manager and Brand Manager at Procter & Gamble in Portugal. He has also been European Marketing Manager for Ariel at Procter & Gamble in Belgium, with responsibility for the French, Italian, Spanish, Belgian, Greek and Portuguese markets.
A graduate in civil engineering from the Higher Technical Institute, Pedro Silva Nunes also holds an MBA from the Rotterdam School of Management at Erasmus University, Holland, and the MBA Program of the Graduate School of Business Administration of the University of Texas.
