Vodafone launches HTC Radar with Windows 7.5

Lisbon, 15 November 2011 – Vodafone Portugal today launched the HTC Radar, the first Windows Phone 7.5 (Mango) phone available in Portugal.

This new smartphone comes equipped with the latest version of the Windows Phone software and is packed with a range of new features. It allows users to check the latest updates from friends on social networks, news and widgets via Windows Live Tiles, which display information directly in the main menu. It also lets users run several applications simultaneously with the introduction of the multitasking feature.

With social networks, the HTC Radar allows users to group contacts into different groups, as well as aggregate information from all networks, conversations and call logs in one place, so making interaction much easier. Users can also talk to their friends in various ways (Facebook Chat, Windows Live Messenger, text messaging, etc) using a single chat menu.

The HTC Radar features integration with Microsoft Office, allowing users to view and edit documents, as well as a virtual storage space of up to 25GB (Skydrive) by creating a Windows Live ID. The Windows Live account also allows access to Xbox Live and Zune (for multimedia content) directly from the HTC Radar.

This phone features a 3.8 inch touchscreen, 5MP camera with LED flash, GPS, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.

The HTC Radar is available from Vodafone Portugal for €329.90 or €29.90 with a 24-month contract.
