Vodafone launches high definition channels without the need for a set-top box
Vodafone Portugal today made it possible for all customers of its Tv Net Voz service to receive high definition channels on a second TV set free of charge and without the need for an additional set-top box. Initially, the channels offered are AXN HD, Fox Life HD, Fox HD and Eurosport HD.
Vodafone is the first operator in Portugal to provide high definition channels without the need for a set-top box. The Vodafone Tv Net Voz service currently offers over 130 television channels (23 HD channels and one 3D channel), interactive applications and features and a video club with over 4000 titles.
The launch of this new service reinforces Vodafone’s focus on providing innovative services and its commitment to provide customers with a unique and distinctive television experience.
